We met through our spunky dog, Wilbur! I (Lindsay) was trying to sell a condo and didn’t want to try that with a puppy in the house, so I moved in with my mom while my condo was on the market. My husband, Mark, is a letter carrier with the US Post Office, and his route includes my mom’s neighborhood. With Wilbur’s daily lunchtime walks, we kept running into Mark, and it wasn’t long before a few conversations turned into a first date. It just kept going from there, and here we are! 3) Lindsay: My favorite moment from the wedding day was when we made it back to the bridal cottage after the ceremony as husband and wife and got to just soak in the moment. It was so surreal! Though we didn’t get to soak in the moment long because we were literally soaking wet and needed to dry off.
Mark: My favorite part of the wedding day was getting married! Also, the private last dance because it ended a culmination of effort and unification.
4) Our advice would be to trust the professional vendors and let them do their jobs. Don’t worry about the small things. The main goal of the day is to get married, and the details are what the professionals are able to help you with. We were able to plan our wedding in two months by trusting the professionals. Also, we would recommend being in the moment as a couple during the wedding day and leaving everything else on the outside.
5) We went to Mount Princeton Hot Springs Spa and Resort. We enjoyed the infinity pool hot spring, the natural hot springs, the giant water slides, and a private cabin! We also highly recommend Sorelle’s Delicatessen in Buena Vista!
