How did we meet each other?
Like so many modern love stories, we met on a dating app. We found each other on Tinder in May 2021 and had our first date at Virgilio’s Pizzeria & Wine Bar in Littleton. We hit it off immediately as we laughed about the situation since Mike switched the dinner location 15 minutes before the date due to reservation mix-ups. We started dating officially that July and since then have had countless adventures and made many treasured memories together.
What was the best memory of your wedding day?
Our first look stands out to both of us as one of our most cherished memories from the day. It meant so much to share a private moment with just the two of us. We read our vows during our first look and this was unforgettable as we just got to be in the moment sharing the promises we wrote to each other.
What would be some advice you would give to future couples as they plan their wedding day?
Communication and an equal share of work are key to success and being a happy couple. Wedding planning is a test of teamwork and splitting up the tasks not only makes it more manageable, but also keeps both people involved and connected in the process. At the end of the day, don’t stress too much about the small details. Some things will go exactly as planned, and others won’t – that’s okay. What will be remembered is how the day felt: the love, the joy, and the moments you shared.
Where did you go on your honeymoon?
We haven’t gone on our honeymoon just yet, but we’re booked for next year! We’ll be exploring Italy in the summer, starting with the beautiful villages of Cinque Terre and making our way down to the Amalfi Coast.
