How did you meet each other?
We met in college; studying the same program. We were good friends that stayed in touch casually after college. A few years ago, we ended up reconnecting (since we lived a few states a part) through water skiing.
What was the best memory of your wedding day?
Definitely the first look (for both of us). A chance to see each other, and take a moment before all the craziness starts. I (the bride) was definitely shocked when the groom and the guys lip-synced the song from the bar scene in Top Gun.
What would be some advice you would give to future couples as they plan their wedding day?
Enjoy the moment. Everyone tends to get wrapped up in what everyone else wants and sometimes they forget that the day is about the two of you making a commitment to each other in front of the friends and family that love you; its not about the cupcakes or the random details or what will make every last person happy - its about the two of you.
Where did you go on your honeymoon and would you recommend it to others?
We have not gone on our honeymoon yet, but we have one planned! We will be going to Scotland and Iceland, staying in different cities almost every night. We hope to see the Northern Lights!
