How did you two meet?
John and I met on the school bus in 6th grade. We lived two blocks away from each other and were best friends all the way up to highschool. I went to college and grad school and John enlisted into the Marines. We never lost contact and remained good friends. We met up afterwards and the rest is history!
What was your favorite memory from your wedding day?
Our wedding was, hands down, the most memorable experience in our lives! Being surrounded by all of our friends and family, we felt so much love! One of the moments that stands out to us was durring our first looks. I know John and I were full of nerves that whole day, but once we set eye on each other all the nervous feelings disappeared and we could focus on each other and all the love we felt from everyone who came to celebrate with us!
Do you have any advice for future couples?
Just remember that your wedding day goes by so fast, make sure you stop and take in all of the little nuances along with all of the big exciting moments. You will want to remember every aspect of your day. Take the time to remember your long journey to this point and cherish every second. You will keep those memories for a lifetime!
Where did you go on your honeymoon? What activities did you do there?
For our honeymoon, John and I went to Ireland. We bravely rented a car and made our way around the entire island! I was breathtaking! Some of our favorites were where we could get back to nature, hiking, horseback riding, boating. We loved the food, the people and the culture!
