How did you meet each other?
We met each other at Hopper's Sports Bar and Grill. We had both signed up for a random drop-in volleyball team. Us and 1 other person were the only three to show up the entire season, so we had a lot of good time to get to know each other.
What was the best memory of your wedding day?
Connor - The final, private dance of the night. After a long, hectic day, the feeling of privacy and vulnerability that moment brought was like a weight coming off my shoulders.
Elizabeth - I got a moment to myself while folks started heading to the buffet. Sitting at the head table, looking at the beautiful place that our friends and family had set up filled with all the people we love laughing and talking, and seeing Connor connecting with our people just filled me with an indescribable sense of joy and love.
What would be some advice you would give to future couples as they plan their wedding day?
Connor - Nellis Auction. Live it, love it, save money.
Elizabeth - Spend less time getting formal family pictures, and get more pictures with your friends and family on the dance floor.
Where did you go on your honeymoon? Where did you stay and what were a couple activities you enjoyed. Would you recommend to other couples?
We went to Portugal! It was fantastic. We stayed in a variety of places (Lisbon, Lagos, Monsaraz, Monsanto, Porto), and did everything from cooking classes to coasteering. And plenty of winery tours, of course. Highly recommend.
