How did you two meet?
We met at a local trivia night where Alicia was with a co-worker and Roland Jr. was with his sister in the same group of people. Roland Jr. tried to impress her with lines from a popular comedian and when she didn't recognize the name or lines, found it the perfect opportunity to ask her on a date to see the comedian's upcoming live performance. After a night of comic relief, country music, and numerous Sunday morning church services, they fell in love!
What was your favorite memory from your wedding day? For both of us, our favorite memory of the wedding day was the walk down the isle. We chose not to see each other before the ceremony, so it was so exciting to anticipate. I almost lost my breath the moment the doors of the bridal cottage opened, I heard "At Last" playing, could see all of my favorite people and started walking with my dad down the isle to see Roland. I didn't take my eyes off of him - it was a moment that all time stopped still and all I could see was him and I. For Roland - it was the same moment... he told me after the ceremony that he almost fell forward because his breath was taken away and he felt like he was being knocked over with excitement.
Do you have any advice for future couples getting married?
We would highly recommend considering incurring the cost to have someone coordinate or assist in wedding planning - looking back, we would have liked to have a consistent person involved in the planning to help with last minute communications and carrying out the vision to relieve that stress. If you can't hire a planner or coordinator and you are a DIYer, I'm sure Roland's advice to a bride-to-be would be "don't look too much at pintrest - it will make you crazy!" and my advice to a groom-to-be would be "if your bride-to-be mentions something about what she saw on pintrest, don't roll your eyes at her". 
In the end, it's all about the experience..... as the bride and groom - pick the one experience you want to have that's important to you and make sure to plan that one part out really well - don't stress too much about the rest, because planning for everyone else's experiences rarely works out just exactly as planned and you can't please everyone. Take a deep breath and enjoy your day!
Where did you go on your honeymoon? What activities did you do while there?
We went to Kauai (with a brief stop at the dentist for a root canal 
). We were very thankful we didn't plan to leave the day after the wedding because of the necessary dentist visit. But were very relieved to finally make it to the Island. We stayed the first part on the Southshore at the Grand Hyatt and then the second half on the Northshore at the Westin. We really enjoyed our helicopter ride with majestic views of the Island and our traditional Luau experience. The Grand Hyatt had an amazing pool area and I would love to go back and spend more time at that pool! We would recommend it to other couples - very nice honeymoon treatment and accommodations.

How did you two meet each other?
We were both working for the same digital marketing agency in Denver in the Fall of 2011. Vanessa looked up one day, saw Josh's baby blue eyes and killer bod, and she began to swoon. Being the romantic that he is, Josh asked her on a date - she said yes - and they went to the movies to see "Shark Night 3D". Between Josh running to puke in the bathroom at the movie theater, bad acting and terrible movie plot, they managed to have a great time laughing and telling jokes. Thus, there were many more dates until, as they say, the rest is history.
What was your favorite memory from your wedding day?
Vanessa - For me, is was watching Peyton Manning congratulate us on our wedding day! Haha, but in reality, it was seeing Josh's face when he turned around to see me for our first look.
Josh - My favorite memory was the anticipation of the first look and seeing Vanessa in her dress for the first time. I’ll never forget that.
What would be some advice you would give to other couples? For the day itself, the best advice would be to take a few moments for just the two of you to take a step back, look around, and appreciate the day itself and the people that all came together to make it happen. Little things may not go exactly according to plan, so if you anticipate that fact ahead of time you’ll save yourself a lot of stress in the process. The entire day goes by in the blink of an eye so focus on what is most important rather than worrying about whether or not the cake arrived on time. Where did you go on your honeymoon? What activities did you do while there? We went to Lisbon, Portugal and Paris, France and stayed in apartments that we found online in both cities. We recommend doing that instead of spending money on hotel rooms because you can save a lot of money upfront and you get more amenities like a kitchen to prepare small meals, which helps save even more and allowed us to do some amazing extra activities!. Both cities were incredible!! In Lisbon, we really enjoyed hanging on the beach and exploring all the little neighborhoods and the different style of each street. Paris is definitely for honeymooners! The romantic city offered dinner cruises on the Seine, wine of all different varietals, nightly strolls along the river and of course art, music and cheese!

How did you two meet?
We met at a birthday celebration for a mutual friend. Jon says it was a set-up, Alicia isn't so sure. But either way it worked out in the end!
What was your favorite memory from your wedding day?
The ceremony. It was amazing to have everyone we love in one place watching us take such an important step in our lives!
Do you have any advice for future couples as they plan their wedding?
Use Pinterest and wedding websites for inspiration but don't base your enjoyment of your wedding day on whether it looks like your wedding board. Also, trust that all the hard work you put in is going to pay off in the end. Our day came together more perfectly than we could ever have imagined and I would have saved myself a lot of anxiety if I'd just trusted in the effort and work we put into in the months leading up to it.
Where did you go on your honeymoon? What activities did you do there? Would you recommend it to other couples?
We went to Honolulu, HI and stayed at the Hilton Hawaiian Village. We went on a few hikes, spent a few days on the beach, and ate a lot of pineapple! We would definitely recommend it to other couples, but only if they like a city feel to their beach vacation. It definitely wasn't a lay on the beach and hang out everyday type of honeymoon!

How did you two meet?
We met through mutual friends who thought we would get along together well. We hit it off right away and have been together ever since.
What was the best memory from your wedding day?
The best memory I have from our wedding day is seeing Danny for the first time. We did not do a first look and when I saw him as I was walking down the aisle, it made all the planning and waiting to see him worth it. His best memory of our wedding day is seeing me for the first time as well.
Do you have any advice for future couples on their wedding planning?
Some advice we would give to other couples would be to make sure your big day represents the both of you as a couple and try not to get too caught up in family drama. All that matters about your wedding day is marrying your fiance.
Where did you go on your honeymoon? What activities did you do while there? We went to San Diego for our honeymoon. We actually stayed in Oceanside, California at this cute little condo called Sandy Beach Cottage Inn. Some of the activities we loved were going to the San Diego Zoo. It's huge and is at least a full day adventure but it's definitely worth it!! We toured the USS Midway. That was a really cool tour we would definitely recommend doing. The seafood was amazing out there! If you like seafood, you need to eat a lot of it while you're out there! We also just enjoyed going on vacation just the two of us and spending time together.

Golden Hotel Wedding | Campbell + Hoover's Golden Colorado Wedding Day
Venue: The Golden HotelVenue coordinator: Sandi McCormick - she is INCREDIBLE!!! Heart of gold, lots of experience and just down right sweet. She is actually the director of sales at the Golden Hotel; we were just lucky enough that they were in between coordinators that we got blessed with Sandi. :-) Kim, who took over for the previous coordinator, was just fabulous too!
Florist: Stems - I cried when I saw my bouquet, literally. I am not really even a girly-girl, but with all of the emotions and how beautiful the flowers were, I actually cried. I am sort of embarrassed to admit that, but Dore (pronounced door-y), the owner, is magnificent!!
Desert/Cake: No cake, we did a s'mores bar instead!
Music: Jerry & Joy - they were so great for our ceremony, and we received so many compliments like "I can't believe they are only a duo!" from multiple people. They were so much fun!

How did you meet each other?
Bride: RA class in undergrad - I had a crush on him, he was dating someone else...we reconnected after college, and apparently that went well!! ;-)
Groom: RA class at Ball State. Then we worked together throughout the next school year and I longingly gazed at you during staff meetings.
What was the best memory of your wedding day?
Bride: Apparently we had a woman with a shirt that read "Flawless" come to the cocktail reception while we were out taking post-ceremony pictures. They knew she wasn't a guest when she told one of our friends that she knew one of the groomsmen...and we didn't have any, haha!
My favorite memories were seeing Hoov at the end of the aisle (and see friends and family as I walked down, too!), saying our vows that we had written ourselves, spending the day getting ready and laughing with my mom, sisters and nieces and President Obama making an appearance on the dance floor!
Groom: Best memory for me: Seeing Campbell walk down the aisle. Second best memory - hearing about our "flawless" wedding crasher.
What would be some advice you would give to future couples as they plan their wedding day?
Bride: Don't get so overwhelmed with the outpouring of love and support from family and friends! I had a really hard time with this one, and in the end you just have to own up to the fact that there are A LOT of people who want to help because they love you...it's a great "problem" to have, so allow others to help you.
Groom: Make sure your future spouse is an event planner? Or, really, I would say not to stress about the small things. At the end of the day, you'll be married and all of the little details will fall into place as they should. Stressing about them won't help. Have a drink (or four) and relax.
Where did you go on your honeymoon? Where did you stay and what were a couple activities you enjoyed. Would you recommend to other couples?
Groom: Cabo San Lucas, MX at the Pueblo Bonito at Sunset Beach. The activity that I most enjoyed was renting the scooter and cruising around town. Also, going out on the boat to go snorkeling was fun. The only way that I would recommend this to other couples is if they want a vacation that is focused on relaxing at the resort. Beach options are limited there and it's very touristy. Also, if a person wants raucous nightlife, it would be a fun place. However, I'm not sure I know many couples that want that for their honeymoon....so I'm not really sure I'd recommend this destination.
Bride: I completely agree with Aaron on this one - Cabo is not a small Mexican town for surfing and meditation. It is PARTY TOWN!!! We didn't know that going into it, but we still enjoyed ourselves! I loved riding the local transportation and figuring our way around town. Having Hoover show up to the resort on an extremely battered scooter was hilarious, too! The staff loved it, haha.
