How did you meet each other? We met at Aarons's cousin's birthday party downtown in 2009! Karmin told the birthday girl that she was attracted to him and it took only a few minutes for Aaron to come over and introduce himself!  The rest is history.

What was your favorite memory from your wedding day?

Aaron's favorite:  our first dance.

Karmin's favorite:  looking around and seeing all of the people that we love and the big smile Aaron had on his face when I walked down the aisle.

What advice would you give for other couples? Things will go wrong during the planning process, but you will laugh about it later.  There are moments when eloping sounds like a great idea, but when you're at your wedding,you will realize it was worth all of the work!  We sent out invites to out of state guests and they didn't have our wedding date on them!  Oops!  The printer made the mistake but none of us noticed when we were addressing them!

Also, take a few minutes to be alone with your bride/groom at the wedding!  It goes by so fast!!!

How did you meet? We met in high school through band and swim team, but didn't really get to know each other until we reconnected seven years later. While I was in school at the University of Wyoming and Ryan was finishing up school at CSU, he offered to help me with statistical analysis for a paper, and I knew he was a keeper.

What was your favorite memory from your wedding day? Seeing each other during our first look :)

Do you have any advice for future couples? Delegate as much as possible, and try not to get hung up on the details; it's usually not worth it. The big picture is what's important.

Where did you go on your honeymoon?  We're still planning the honeymoon, but in the Spring we will be going some place warm and with a beach.

How did you meet each other? Nick was looking for a place to live and answered an ad for a room for rent where Christina was living. The first time Nick and Christina met each other was when he went to look at the place. Christina was smitten, and obviously things worked out!

What was the best memory of your wedding day? Nick's best memory is their first dance, to "The Night is Young and You're So Beautiful", from the movie, Robin Hood Men in Tights. Christina's best memory is her Dad walking her down the aisle, with Nick waiting for her at the altar.

What would be some advice you would give to future couples as they plan their wedding day? Elope! Just kidding, try to enjoy the planning because it goes by quickly. Don't worry about the details on your wedding day. What's most important is the two of you, surrounded by your family and friends.

Where did you go on your honeymoon? We're still planning the honeymoon, and we look forward to relaxing on a warm beach this spring to escape the Colorado winter.

How did you meet each other?

We met as biology lab partners in high school, and rekindled a friendship when we took a bunch of Spanish classes together in college, but we didn't start dating until we were both out of college and living and teaching in Colorado Springs.

What was your favorite memory from your wedding day?

We didn't do a first look, so seeing each other for the first time at the altar was a wonderful and emotional moment.

Do you have any advice for future couples?

Remember that this day is about making a lifelong commitment to each other, and even if something "goes wrong" or doesn't work out as you planned, it won't be a big deal on the day. You will be so happy and so excited that you probably won't care about that one little detail. Enjoy the day, and try to take it all in. And make sure you put someone responsible in charge of keeping track of all the groomsmen's clothes so you aren't searching for pants 20 minutes before the ceremony.

Where did you go on your honeymoon?  What activities did you do?

We began our honeymoon in Newport, Rhode Island at the Castle Hill Inn for a couple nights, and then visited Plymouth, Concord, Boston, and Salem, Massachusetts. We relaxed, rode bikes along the cliffside, golfed twice, enjoyed local 'chowda,' lobster, and other treats at great local restaurants, enjoyed a harbor cruise in Salem, visited Orchard House, Walden Pond, and Author's Row, and had a wonderful time. We loved having a non-traditional honeymoon, and we think that a New England honeymoon in the fall was just delightful. The weather was perfectly cool, so we could enjoy spending time in a cozy hotel room with the fire burning in the fireplace, and it was pleasant to walk around town to see the sights.

Vilolin, chelo, and piano were the parkers, and the preacher was Jason Parker, the parkers are very special family to us they had been our neighbors until last January.

Notes from the Bride: The dress was bought at something new boutique which was the opposite kind of dress i was looking for initially. I had been searching for a lace mermaid type of dress and i fell in love with a satin big a line frame embedded with tons of Swarovski crystals. The dress was one of a kind the designer hand carried it to the store it the first one he had made like that. I found shoes that also had Swarovski crystals that matched the dress online.  Then when i first saw it I thought it was over the top but when the lady at something new boutique place it on top of my head it really complemented the dress, the tiara was also make of Swarovski crystals.I felt like a Disney princess.  During the wedding I hand carried a handkerchief that had belonged to Randys great-grandmother, after the ceremony Shelly (Randys Sister), handed me Randys grandmother (Betty Magnuson) bible that she had carried in her wedding.  Inside that bible i had a necklace that my biological father (which he passed away when i was 3) had given to my mother and my mother wore that gold necklace during their wedding.

How did you two meet?

Randy and I met each other in El Paso, TX I was there going to Nursing school and Randy had been stationed there TDY he had just came back from a deployment in Iraq. We actually met in a karaoke bar lol. Randy and I had instant attraction toward each other and we started dating in Texas when I graduated he moved me out here in Colorado.

Do you have any advice for future couples?

The piece of advice I would give other couple is to give yourself time to plan for the wedding, book everything ahead of time, florist, DJ, venue, Baker, etc. Plan everything with time and once the actual day arrives just enjoy it, don’t stress about the small stuff enjoy that day to its fullest because it goes by so fast! and if you spend it irritated about some small little detail not being perfect you are gonna miss the big picture!

What was your favorite memory from your wedding day?

Walking up to the altar being escorted by my Uncle Chencho which means the world to me. Then seeing Randy at the altar melted my heart he looked so handsome up there with his suit.

Where did you go for your honeymoon?

The night of the wedding we spent it at the Broadmoor the next day we went home, we still had family from Spain and Idaho staying for a couple of more days. So we are planning in going to a honeymoon next year. We are are not sure yet where though lol! one of the options is Spain so we can also visit my family. So i recommend to anyone if they don’t have the time to go in a honey moon right away the Broadmoor hotel,  it was so elegant they had a bottle of champagne in the room waiting for us and the next day we had a breakfast brunch in their 1st floor an we took a walk around their lake afterwards.

How did you meet each other?

We met at the University of Iowa in finance class. Eric broke Alison's calculator and she missed every problem on their homework that week. Eventually Eric made it up to Alison when they went out for ice cream and then putt putt. Then they moved to Denver and lived happily ever after.

What was the best memory of your wedding day?

Being able to WALK down the isle was extra special after health challenges this year.  We were overwhelmed by all the love and support of our family and friends that came to celebrate with us. We both felt so calm all day and really kept the focus on the true meaning of why we were all there, to celebrate love.

Do you have any advice for future couples?

Focus on your top 3 important details of the day (spend the budget on that). Delegate delegate delegate, other people are happy to help and feel involved, it shouldn't be micromanaged/a burden for the bride and groom. Write a ceremony that's unique and meaningful to you the couple. Let your guests in on that intimate piece.

Where did you go on your honeymoon?

We went to Lanai Hawaii and stayed at the Four Seasons Manele Bay. It was perfect. Very relaxing and low key, super small island.  Lots of golf, champagne, pool time, dolphin watching, sunset cruises, and quality time together. Would definitely recommend.

What was the best memory of your wedding day?

 Spending time with our family and friends in an amazing location and having a really personal experience with have so many family and friends involved in the weekend from the music to the ceremony and reception. It was an amazing weekend!!

What would be some advice you would give to future couples as they plan their wedding day?

 Take it all in, it goes really fast. Just remember to enjoy it. And we really enjoyed the event the next day allowed us to spend more time with everyone.

Where did you go on your honeymoon? 

We are on our honeymoon right now! Typing this email from the Cook Islands.  We are visiting Raratonga and Aitutaki while we are here. It is amazing so far!! We have stayed at Pacific Resort in both locations and would highly recommend it.

 How did you meet each other?

We initially met at a mutual friend's birthday party.  A week and a half later we ran into each other again and went on our first date three days later.

What was the best memory of your wedding day?

When Bruno Mars' "I Think I Wanna Marry You" song came on. Everyone crowded around us as we danced. It was such a fun and neat moment that we will never forget!

What would be some advice you would give to future couples as they plan their wedding day?

Try to look at the big picture. The most important part is that you and your fiance are getting married and that's all that matters. Yes, you want everyone to have a good time and to make it your own, but don't sweat the small stuff.

Where did you go on your honeymoon?  Where did you stay and what were a couple activities you enjoyed.  Would you recommend to other couples?  

Panama. We stayed in Panama City for two days at the Hotel Bristol. The hotel experience was amazing. We saw the Panama Canal and walked around Casco Viejo, which is their 'old town'. We went to the beach for the rest of the time and stayed at RIU Playa Blanca. It was a beautiful location and nice hotel. I would definitely recommend vacationing in Panama. The people are so friendly, the country is amazing and the climate and landscape are beautiful.

How did you two meet each other?

We met each other through mutual friends and had been friends before we decided dating. I was definitely the one pursing him. One day he asked me to go on a date to the zoo. We walked around and enjoyed some lunch. After lunch he pulled a fortune cookie out of his pocket. Inside it read "Will you be my girlfriend?" To this day I still have that little slip of paper. When he proposed to me he set up a scavenger hunt which led me to many places we had visited on dates, the Denver Zoo was one of the stops :)

What was the best memory of your wedding day?

The best and most emotional memory the day of my wedding was the rainbow that appeared right before the ceremony. The sky was gray and rain was pouring down. Things were not looking good, as we had planned an outdoor ceremony. After raining for about half an hour, a huge rainbow appeared across the sky, right over the Lake House. This touched me because one of my Grandmas passed away several years ago. Her favorite song was "Somewhere Over the Rainbow." She always has a way of showing she is there, wether it be the song playing on the radio or her appearing in the sky. I knew it was her, she would never miss my wedding day! 

What would be some advice you would give to future couples as they plan their wedding day?

I think the best advice we can give to future couples when planning their wedding is not to stress. I know it sounds cliche but seriously, there were so many things the day of our wedding that did not goes as planned or were not exactly what we had originally wanted, but the entire day was so beautiful and perfect.  There is not one thing we would go back and change. It seems like such a big deal when planning that everything is perfect, but the day of it doesn't really matter. We couldn't take our eyes off of each other and couldn't help but smile all night, it was as if no one else was there and nothing else mattered.

Where did you go on your honeymoon? 

We haven't gone on our honeymoon yet because McKenah started her nursing program 5 days after the wedding. So instead we leave on December 31st for a 17 day trip to Thailand! While we are there we will be visiting Koh Samui, Bangkok, Phuket, Ko Phi Phi, and Chang Mai! We are beyond excited for this adventure and plan on riding elephants through the jungle, attending the Full Moon Party, scuba diving, and immersing ourselves into a brand new culture!

How did you meet each other?  We met each other freshmen year at Kansas State University through mutual friends.  We were friends for 5 years before we started dating.

3) What was the best memory of your wedding day?  Our best memory was seeing the dance floor full of all our friends and family celebrating.  It was so much fun to have our friends and family all together on this special day, most of whom are scattered across the country.

4)  What would be some advice you would give to future couples as they plan their wedding day?  Plan as much as you can early and stay organized.  Then, when it comes down to the last few weeks/days you can enjoy the festivities and celebrating with friends and family.

5) Where did you go on your honeymoon?  Where did you stay and what were a couple activities you enjoyed.  Would you recommend to other couples?  If you used a travel agent and liked them please note that.  We took a "minimoon" to Estes Park, CO.  We stayed at Della Mountain Chateau.  It was perfect for couples.  Very romantic and enjoyable stay!  We spent time walking around town, driving through Rocky Mountain National Park and relaxing!
