I love being introduced to new and beautiful Colorado locations. That is exactly what happened when we set out for Sara and Tyler's winter mountain engagement shoot at White Ranch Open Space just outside of Denver. This spot has very special meaning to Sara and Tyler as it is where he got down on one knee and asked for her hand in marriage. We had a great time checking out some of what the park had to offer. We were even blessed with a wonderful and very colorful sunset to cap off the evening. Just how I like it! I look forward to their warmer July wedding here in Denver. Here are a few of my favorites from their shoot.

Denver Wedding Photographer | Colorado Mountain Engagement Shoot | Karmin and Aaron's Evergreen Engagement Shoot
We absolutely love shooting winter engagement shoots. One of our favorite local spots to capture the Colorado Rocky mountain feel along with fun of winter sports is up in Evergreen. We started off Karmin and Aaron's session at the grassy meadows of Elk Meadow Open Space where we basked the balmy 30 degree late afternoon sun. We then laced up the skates and hit the Evergreen Lake for some fun on the frozen pond. Everyone out on the lake couldn't help but stop and stare as Aaron chased Karmin around the ice hoping for that one last kiss under the setting sun.

Congratulations Karmin and Aaron. We look forward to your wedding day!
