Chatfield State Park Maternity Shoot | Heather and AJ's Maternity Shoot
When Heather called us up to schedule their maternity shoot we were thrilled. I have known Heather for several years now as we worked together while my photography business was getting up and running. I am always honored when those who have followed us from the beginning, find us again and want to head out and shoot. You could see the glow in Heathers eyes all evening and being one myself, I can tell AJ is going to be very happy being a daddy. Congratulations to Heather and AJ on their upcoming little girl Isabella. We cant wait to meet her.

Chatfield State Park Engagement Shoot | Elizabeth and Caleb's Chatfield Engagement Shoot
On a warm summers evening Elizabeth and Caleb accompanied by their dog Fred met us down at Chatfield State Park just outside of Denver for what was a perfect Colorado engagement session . We spent the evening walking along the trails and through the tall green grasses. We came across excellent vistas overlooking the lake and a one of a kind fallen tree. All of that hiking made everyone hungry and thirsty though so its a good thing Elizabeth packed along a picnic complete with a bottle of wine and some cupcakes for her and Caleb to enjoy as the evening clouds rolled. We were luck enough to avoid any rain and even managed to capture a full rainbow overhead after the storm clouds passed through. Congrats to this lovely couple and we cannot wait to be a part of their wedding day.
Locations Used| Chatfield State Park located just south of Denver is perfect for camping and hiking and of course engagement shoots. It features a large reservoir perfect for water sports and fishing. The hiking is excellent and the landscape is full of tall green colorado grasses and overlooks of the reservoir.

Ill start by saying, Chicago is one of our favorite cities to visit. When you get off The L and find yourself in the "The Loop" right at the corner of State and Lake St., you cant help but feel the energy and vitality of the city surrounding you. When Allie and Peter asked us if we would travel to photograph their wedding day a couple blocks off the Magnificent Mile (Michigan Ave), we were ecstatic. Their ceremony was held at the historic St. James Cathedral on the corner of Huron and Wabash. Following the ceremony we traveled down Lake Shore drive to Lincoln Park and to the shores of Lake Michigan to capture a few shots of their stunning bridal party. The rest of the evening was spent dancing the night away at The Murphy to the the lively sounds of The Z Orchestra led by Paul Zimmerman. What an amazing wedding day full of fun and laughter. We wish Allie and Peter the best in their new marriage and a lifetime of happiness together. A big thanks to Stephanie Shertz and all of the wonderful vendors who helped make this wedding day so perfect.

This newly renovated restaurant/bar located at 1800 E Evans Ave near the Denver University campus is a must visit. With the new look provided by Jordy Construction, the warm comfortable feel with numerous tv's makes it the perfect place to grab an outstanding breakfast, lunch or dinner and watch your favorite sporting event. If you are looking for a personal recommendation give the Sugar & Spice Burger a try. It came topped with cinnamon spiced pears, goat cheese, crispy onions and honey-molasses bbq sauce and was YUMMY!

One of the joys of being a photographer is getting the chance to watch and document families as they grow. Back in 2011 we fortunate enough to photograph Jenn and Luke Wagner's wedding day at Mile High Station here in Denver. When Jenn called to have us shoot a newborn session of their son Tate, I of course was overjoyed. Without further ado, it is now my pleasure to introduce you to the newest addition to the Wagner household Tate Jeffrey Wagner, born May 7th at 7lb 14oz. He is as perfect as can be and we couldn't be happier for Jenn and Luke.
