Mile High Station Denver Wedding | Mandi and Kyle Baseggio's Wedding

Mandi and Kyle are married!  You may remember this couple from their downtown Denver engagement shoot where we snapped a few photos back where it all began.  Here is there story... Kyle and Mandi both spent their Thursday nights at Cowboy Lounge in Denver on a regular basis. Kyle had his eyes on Mandi for weeks before they ever spoke. He would try to talk to her and she wouldn't give him the time of day. Kyle and his friends referred to her as short haired girl before he ever knew her name. On November 10, 2011, Mandi's friend Brittany convinced her to go introduce herself to Kyle. Kyle got Mandi's phone number that day and they began talking on a regular basis. The following Friday, November 18, Kyle took Mandion their first date to Chad's Grill in Lakewood. It wasn't long before the two of them were seeing each other 3 to 4 times a week. In December, Kyle graduated from the Colorado School of Mines and decided that it was an appropriate time to introduce Mandi to the family. Things went really well and they were both becoming more serious about each other. They spent that New Years Eve out with friends in Denver and the next day they decided that it was time they made this official. On June 6, 2014 they did just that alongside these excellent wedding Vendors

Bethany has been one of my best friends since my very first day of college at New Mexico State (almost 14 years ago WOW!!). We've had lots of great times together including Thursdays in Juarez, ski trips in NM and CO, bachelorette parties, beach trips, fun times in Austin and many many more, however nothing compares to her amazing Jamaica wedding last month!

It was an honor for us to be a part of Bethany + Ron's very special day at the Spa Retreat in Negril, Jamaica. It was a small gathering of about 45 of the couples' closest friends and families. By the end of the 4 days, it felt like we had all known one another for years! They had an intimate ceremony on the cliffs at the Resort followed by a fabulous dinner and reception just a few hundred yards away. I am beyond thrilled that Bethany found an amazing guy with a wonderful family to spend her life with! We are so happy for you both and wish you many fun years ahead!

Chicago Wedding Photography | The Murphy Auditorium Wedding Reception | Allie and Peter's Downtown Chicago Wedding

Ill start by saying, Chicago is one of our favorite cities to visit. When you get off  The L and find yourself in the "The Loop" right at the corner of State and Lake St., you cant help but feel the energy and vitality of the city surrounding you.  When Allie and Peter asked us if we would travel to photograph their wedding day a couple blocks off the Magnificent Mile (Michigan Ave), we were ecstatic.  Their ceremony was held at the historic St. James Cathedral on the corner of Huron and Wabash. Following the ceremony we traveled down Lake Shore drive to Lincoln Park and to the shores of Lake Michigan to capture a few shots of their stunning bridal party.  The rest of the evening was spent dancing the night away at The Murphy to the the lively sounds of The Z Orchestra led by Paul Zimmerman. What an amazing wedding day full of fun and laughter.  We wish Allie and Peter the best in their new marriage and a lifetime of happiness together. A big thanks to Stephanie Shertz and all of  the wonderful vendors who helped make this wedding day so perfect.

Gulf Shores Alabama Wedding | Ashley and Drake's Wedding

  Growing up I never knew marriage would be this fun. My wife is the sweetest, most beautiful and loving women.  Everyday l am amazed at how strong she is and what a wonderful mommy she has become for little Grayson.  The fun began two years ago today where a group of friends and family traveled down on the beaches of Gulf Shore, Alabama for a week of fun in the sun.  If you missed out on our days of beach volleyball, paddleboarding and sunbathing or the nights of bonfires, hot tubing and live music with mudslides at Flora-Bama then this post is for you.  For our two year anniversary I decided to finally put together an album from our wedding.  I may be slightly biased, but this was the best wedding week I have ever been a part of  :)  I can only hope every bride and groom are blessed to have as much fun on their wedding days as we did.  I want to thank everyone who came to party with us. Hopefully we will see you at the 10 yr anniversary at the Halekai lll.  Cheers to many fabulous years ahead Ashley.

Lisa + Colby's Great Bend, Kansas Wedding {Colorado Destination Wedding Photographers}

We have been so blessed to have gotten to know and photograph a few amazing Kansas born couples now living here in the Denver area.  Earlier this month we were invited to travel to "The Sunflower State" and photograph Lisa and Colby's wedding and get introduced to their small town of Great Bend.  We love getting out of town for weddings and it was such a fun weekend away.  Spring time in Great Bend was absolutely beautiful with the grass turning green and trees in full bloom.  I cant forget to mention those midwestern sunsets.   Congratulations on a fantastic wedding celebration and best wishes from all of us at Drake Busch Photography.  Enjoy your Antigua honeymoon!

Rustic Colorado Mountain Wedding Photographer | Deanna and Rob's Steamboat Springs Wedding

Deanna and Rob had one of the most unique weddings we've ever attended. They rented the Vista Verde dude ranch near Steamboat Springs for an extended weekend to spend with all their friends and family. The weekend included a true cowboy rehearsal dinner with some of the most amazing food prepared by the staff at Vista Verde followed by a hayride, horseshoe competition, calf roping, tequila shooting good time in the stables at the ranch.

Coordinated by Kelsey Albright at Colorado Wedding Company, the wedding day was everything the bride and groom could've hoped for and more! From the gorgeous flowers and centerpieces, by Erin Devine to the perfect setting that the Vista Verde provided, to the bride's gorgeous dress and 2nd dress (photos coming soon), to the Don Julio grooms cake, etc etc. After the ceremony they had a sunset sleigh ride out in the pasture and stables.  Awaiting their return was an accordion serenade waltz of "Over the Waves", blue champagne and one heck of a party.  Thank you for inviting Ashley and I to share in your wedding weekend.

Denver Brown Palace Wedding | Noel and Joel's Brown Palace Wedding

Noel and Joel's wedding was our first wedding of the season and they couldn't have asked for a more gorgeous Spring day in Denver.

 Their ceremony and reception were held in downtown Denver at the stunning Brown Palace Hotel + Spa, Denver's 2nd oldest hotel. They had a  Roaring 20's themed reception that was complete with all the glamour and unpredictableness you would expect from the magnificent decade. The fedoras, long pearl necklaces and feather accents were just a few of the details they incorporated into the cocktail hour and reception.

We had a great time celebrating with this beautiful couple and we wish them much joy and many years of happiness!
